SEPHORA + MAC HAUL

Sephora Color Last Lipsticks (left to right) - 22, 21, 04

Mac Russian Red

If you saw my Barcelona Photo Diary, you'll know that I took my first ever trip to a Sephora a couple of weeks ago and I unashamedly had so much fun - I literally spent an hour in there and then went back the next day... So I thought I'd show you what I got. I also got a new lipstick from Mac that I thought I'd throw into this haul as I bought it on the same trip and, because let's be honest, it looks perdy.

Sephora Color Lip Last Lipsticks in 04, 21 & 22
I'm starting with my favourites because I have to tell you about these! Alongside Mac's matte finishes, these lipsticks are my favourite formula I've ever tried. Shade no. 21 is a semi-matte, bright yet easily wearable colour, but the favourites for me are 04 (a gorgeous brown) and 22 (a warm dark pink/brown) which are true matte formulas. These lipsticks do not budge. The staying power of these straight up matte lipsticks are like noting I've seen before. They apply really smoothly, and after a brief period of feeling like you've rubbed pritt stick on your mouth, they set to an unbelievable comfortable, true matte, long lasting finish. And when you come to remove it, you will struggle, but only because it sets as a sort of coating and not because it stains the lips in any way. I've never seen a formula like this before and I love it so much. Ramble over.

Sephora Sleeping Mask in Pomegranate
I haven't tried this one yet but I loved the idea of an overnight mask that would help energise my skin so that I could wake up looking fresh faced. I'm really excited to give this one a go.

Sephora Face Mask in Rose
Again, I haven't tried this mask yet but it was sat in the travel sizes section right by the tills (an excellent selling technique btw) and for some reason I felt at the time that I had to have it. I like buying these single masks because there's nothing worse that spending loads of money of a huge tub of face mask that does nothing to help your skin. But I thought a hydrating mask would be perfect as a post-night out pick me up.

Sephora Eau de Toilette in Vanilla
I couldn't find a link to this but I'm sure you'll be able to find it in your local Sephora. I bought this because I'd not brought my perfume with me and needed something for whilst I was away - I also thought it'd be great to keep in my handbag when I got home. I used to wear a vanilla body spray from The Body Shop through my early years of high school and so the scent of vanilla is so nostalgic to me - and it smells like cake..

BeautyBlender
I've been using the Real Techniques Miracle Sponge for a really long time now and absolutely love it, so I thought it was about time to try the real deal with the Original Beauty Blender. I've been resisting using this so that I could get some photos of it but I'm really looking forward to trying it and comparing it to the Real Techniques budget alternative - maybe in a blog post?

Mac Lipstick in Russian Red
I wore this for halloween and forgot to take the lipstick with me for touch ups, but Mac had my back as per usual and it still looked great when I got home at an ungodly hour (although if I could have gotten away with smudged/messy lipstick on any night, it would've been on halloween). The colour of this is absolutely stunning and I was worried that the brightness might not quite work with my complexion but I think this colour really truly is universal.

There you have it, the results of my first time in Sephora! I'm hoping to visit Spain again very soon so if you have any Sephora recommendations, leave them in the comments below!
